Have a good week!

Monday 18th January

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

I have tried to make my planning 'learning at home' friendly. Just click on the first document for all you need for this week. There are links that you will need each day all in the same place.

We are here if you need us and don't forget to keep posting your learning. You can post your learning on Dojo or better still to your Tapestry Learning Journey.

Please note that this is what we would be doing in school and we do not expect you to achieve it all at home. I would say the phonics, the writing, and the maths should take priority. Hopefully you have read my guidance letter on class dojo

Have lovely week of learning.

School Closure

We are sorry our school is closed. We will be in touch frequently with learning your children could be doing.

It is suggested that you create a routine with your children and attached are some suggestions on how to do that.

Creating A Routine

Please find our 'Daily Activities and Routine for Foundation' below. This is a suggested way to structure your day. These times and ideas are for guidance only and you may want to dip in and out of the activities that are suggested.

Don't forget how important taking breaks, eating well, drinking well and having some fresh air is! Make time for you too;  chat to friends and family on the phone and play together!

Any problems at all, feel free to message any of the Foundation Team on ClassDojo for advice or even just to celebrate how well you are doing!

Spring 1 20/21

Hello, we hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Our topic this term is 'Whatever the weather.' Starting with Winter, will be looking closely at the changing seasons and weather conditions. The first day back we will be going on a short walk to look for the signs of winter. The children will work in small groups and tick off what they see.

We will be doing lots of investigation with ice, thinking about what keeps us warm and what animals do in winter. We will also be thinking about where polar bears and penguins live. At the end of the term we will go on another short walk and look for signs of spring.

So a fun filled term for your little ones.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back!
