Well Dressing 2019
The Well Dressing was an emotional affair this year. Not only did we have to say good bye to our amazing Year 2 children and wish them well on their journey into KS2 but we also had to say goodbye to our lovely Mrs Jagger, who is retiring after being the school clerk for 20 years. In honour of her hard work and dedication the children worked alongside Mrs Alexander to create an amazing likeness of Mrs Jagger in the clay for the well dressing. They then performed songs, poems and dances about the seaside and wrote their thoughts about Mrs Jagger and read them aloud to her.
The children had a fantastic day in Cleethorpes. They enjoyed burying each other in the sand, making sandcastles, looking in the tide pools, playing frisbee and eating ice creams. The staff were, as always, delighted with their behaviour. There were some very sleepy children on the return trip.
